Emirates Expands Premium Economy to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat and Bahrain With Fall Rollout

The expansion reflects a 219-aircraft retrofit targeting roughly 2 million premium‑economy seats this year.

Overview

  • Dubai–Amman will see a four‑class A380 with premium economy on EK903/904 starting 26 October 2025.
  • DubaiMumbai will add premium economy on retrofitted Boeing 777s on EK504/505 from 26 October, offering 22 weekly flights.
  • DubaiMuscat will receive A350 service with premium economy on EK862/863 from 30 October 2025.
  • DubaiBahrain will gain an additional retrofitted 777 with premium economy on EK833/834 every Thursday from 4 December 2025.
  • Emirates says premium economy will feature on more than 635 weekly flights as retrofits reach 67 of 219 aircraft, and it will ban the inflight use of power banks from October 2025 for safety.
