Eminem Joins Detroit's Bid for WNBA Expansion Team

Eminem has joined a group of Detroit sports owners, executives, and business leaders in bidding for a WNBA expansion team.
The group is led by Tom Gores, owner of the Detroit Pistons, and includes owners of the Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings, as well as notable figures like Grant Hill, Chris Webber, and GM CEO Mary Barra.
Detroit previously hosted the WNBA's Detroit Shock, which won three championships before relocating in 2010.
The WNBA is considering adding up to three new teams, with Detroit competing against at least 10 other cities for the expansion slots.
If successful, the Detroit team would play at Little Caesars Arena, home to the Pistons and Red Wings.
