Emilie Anthonis Appointed MPA Head for Europe, Middle East, Africa

Anthonis will succeed Stan McCoy as President and Managing Director effective January 1, 2025.

Anthonis has been with the Motion Picture Association since 2017, previously serving as Director of Legal and Public Affairs.
She will be based in Brussels and report to Gail MacKinnon, Senior Executive Vice President of Global Policy and Government Affairs.
Charles Rivkin, MPA Chairman and CEO, praised Anthonis as a veteran advocate for the creative industry and a leader of integrity.
Anthonis aims to advance the MPA's priorities and foster partnerships with stakeholders across Europe and beyond.
Stan McCoy steps down after a decade of leading the MPA's efforts in public policy and anti-piracy in the EMEA region.
