• Elvis Costello made a surprise appearance during Billy Joel's ongoing monthly concert residency at Madison Square Garden, performing Costello’s 1978 song ‘Pump It Up’ and Joel’s 1982 classic ‘Allentown’.
• Billy Joel's residency at Madison Square Garden, which began in 2014, is set to end on July 25, 2024, marking his 150th appearance at the venue.
• Joel has been joined by numerous surprise guests throughout his residency, including Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Jimmy Fallon, Tony Bennett, Sting, Jon Bon Jovi, and most recently, Elvis Costello.
