• Released Sept. 15, the short Touched By Gold premiered on the World Gold Council’s YouTube channel.
• Following a 2024 double knee replacement, John kept both patellae and asked jeweler Theo Fennell to repurpose them.
• Fennell’s team baked the bones to dry them, sealed them with acetate, polished them, and encased the right patella in gold for a necklace with a bone chain.
• The necklace bears a Latin engraving that translates to “I will no longer bow to any man.”
• The smaller left patella was made into a brooch, and John has previously worn the necklace publicly, including at an October 2024 UK premiere.
