Elton John Postpones Album Due to Vision Loss from Severe Eye Infection

The music legend revealed he has been partially blind in one eye for four months and is undergoing treatment with hopes of recovery.

Elton John disclosed that a severe eye infection in July has left him unable to see out of his right eye, with his left eye also experiencing diminished vision.
The 77-year-old musician stated that his vision issues have halted progress on his new album, as he cannot read lyrics or work in the studio.
In September, John shared on Instagram that his recovery has been slow, but he remains optimistic about regaining his eyesight with ongoing medical treatment.
Despite his health challenges, John has continued public appearances, including promoting his Disney+ documentary 'Elton John: Never Too Late,' set to premiere on December 13.
The singer expressed gratitude for his family, medical team, and positive outlook, calling himself 'the luckiest man in the world.'
