- The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame named a cross-generational roster including Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Flea, Iggy Pop, Missy Elliott, Questlove, Killer Mike, Maxwell, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, Twenty One Pilots and J.I.D.
- This year’s honorees are Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden and the White Stripes, with Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon recognized for musical influence, Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye for musical excellence, and Lenny Waronker receiving the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
- The induction will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and tickets are available via AXS.
- The Foundation said additional special guests will be announced in the weeks ahead, and one report says Chubby Checker has declined to attend.
- A 2025 Inductee Exhibit opens Oct. 31 at the Rock Hall in Cleveland, featuring Lauper’s “Time After Time” lyrics, Chris Cornell’s 1979 Gibson Les Paul and outfits worn by Outkast and the White Stripes.
