Elton John Auctions Off Items from Former Atlanta Home

Collection Includes Yamaha Grand Piano, Silver Platform Boots, and Artworks by Banksy

Elton John is auctioning off items from his former Atlanta home, including his Yamaha grand piano, a pair of silver platform boots, and a variety of artworks.
The auction, titled 'The Collection of Sir Elton John: Goodbye Peachtree Road,' will take place at Christie's in New York starting on February 21.
Items up for auction include artworks by Banksy and Julian Schnabel, a diamond necklace that says 'The Bitch Is Back,' and a variety of vintage Gianni Versace shirts.
The auction is expected to bring in an estimated $10 million, with the most expensive item, a 2017 Banksy painting, expected to sell for nearly $1.5 million.
The auction comes after John sold his Atlanta condo for $7.2 million last year, following the end of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
