Overview

  • On August 7, 2025, Disneyland Paris craned the jagged peak of Elsa’s Ice Palace into position atop North Mountain, marking a key construction milestone.
  • Elsa’s Ice Palace will stand 42 feet tall, weigh 15 tons and be assembled from about 30 interlocking pieces adorned with over 300 Swarovski crystals.
  • The palace crowns a 118-foot North Mountain that will overlook the village and bay of the new World of Frozen land.
  • World of Frozen will feature a major new attraction along with themed dining venues and retail shops to immerse guests in Arendelle when it opens in 2026.
  • This Paris expansion is part of a €2 billion investment to rebrand Walt Disney Studios Park as Disney Adventure World and follows similar lands in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
