Elon Musk has intensified his criticism of Disney and its CEO Bob Iger, questioning why the company continues to advertise on Meta platforms despite recent allegations of child-sex trafficking content.
Musk's anger towards Disney began after the company, along with several others, pulled advertising from X, the social media platform Musk purchased and rebranded in 2022.
Musk has called out Disney for its continued advertising on Facebook and Instagram, even after a lawsuit was filed against Meta, the parent company of these platforms, alleging they failed to identify predator networks on their sites.
Musk has also called for Iger's immediate firing, escalating his attacks on the Disney CEO.
Disney, along with other major companies like Apple, IBM, Lionsgate and Paramount Global, pulled ads from X in response to an antisemitic post by Musk, which he has since apologized for.
