Overview
- Deputies found the 33-year-old unresponsive in his housing unit shortly after 2:55 p.m. on Sunday at the Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas.
- Jail staff and medical personnel performed CPR until Milpitas Fire Department and EMS arrived at 3:09 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at 3:31 p.m.
- Sheriff's Office detectives have opened an inquiry that so far shows no indication of foul play.
