• Terrance Maughan, 40, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on August 27 after pleading guilty to threatening a person with an offensive weapon, affray and criminal damage.

• The court heard he struck a woman, threatened to burn people and the café, then returned with a screwdriver and attempted to stab a man who had intervened.
