Elizabeth MacRae, Beloved TV and Film Actress, Dies at 88

Known for her roles in 'Gomer Pyle, USMC' and 'General Hospital,' MacRae's career spanned over three decades.

Elizabeth MacRae passed away peacefully in her hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
She was best known for her role as Lou-Ann Poovie on 'Gomer Pyle, USMC' and Meg Baldwin on 'General Hospital.'
MacRae appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including 'The Conversation' directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
After retiring from acting, she worked as a drug and alcohol counselor in New York City.
MacRae is survived by her five stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
