• The FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup runs from June 23 to 29 at Palermo’s Country Time Club di Mondello with free admission for spectators.
• The men’s draw features 32 pairs including ex-world No. 1 Maxi Sanchez, Alex Ruiz and Miguel Lamperti, and the women’s competition fields 20 pairs led by top seeds Giorgia Marchetti and Barbara Las Heras.
• The €20,000 prize pool awards ranking points and supports the CUPRA FIP Tour, which has expanded to over 290 tournaments in 44 countries this year.
• Weekend matches are being streamed live from the Central Court on the International Padel Federation’s YouTube channel.
• A VIP ProAm Exhibition features former football stars Dida, Nicola Legrottaglie, Marco Amelia and Cristian Zaccardo and an Inclusive Padel program promotes mixed-ability play.
