- Elgato has launched the Game Capture 4K X, an upgrade to the HD60X, offering 4K capture capabilities at high framerates without the need for an internal PCIe slot.
- The Game Capture 4K X supports HDMI 2.1, and can handle resolutions of 1080P60, 4K60, 4K144, 1080p240. It also features VRR passthrough and HDR10 passthrough and capture.
- The device is powered by a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and comes with a USB-C 3.2 cable and HDMI 2.1 cable included in the box.
- The Elgato Game Capture 4K X is compatible with a variety of devices, including PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam Deck.
- Elgato is also launching the 4K Pro, a PCIe card that supports 8K / 60fps HDR passthrough, capturing at 4K / 60fps HDR, priced at $279.99.
