Elgato Launches Game Capture 4K X and 4K Pro

The new devices offer high-resolution capture capabilities without the need for an internal PCIe slot, supporting a variety of gaming devices.

Elgato has launched the Game Capture 4K X, an upgrade to the HD60X, offering 4K capture capabilities at high framerates without the need for an internal PCIe slot.
The Game Capture 4K X supports HDMI 2.1, and can handle resolutions of 1080P60, 4K60, 4K144, 1080p240. It also features VRR passthrough and HDR10 passthrough and capture.
The device is powered by a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and comes with a USB-C 3.2 cable and HDMI 2.1 cable included in the box.
The Elgato Game Capture 4K X is compatible with a variety of devices, including PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam Deck.
Elgato is also launching the 4K Pro, a PCIe card that supports 8K / 60fps HDR passthrough, capturing at 4K / 60fps HDR, priced at $279.99.
