Overview

• The incident occurred Thursday around 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Cedar Street in Berkeley.
• A verbal argument between a driver and an electric skateboarder escalated when the skateboarder pursued the driver and attempted to vandalize his vehicle.
• The driver exited his car, at which point the skateboarder stabbed him in the head before fleeing the scene.
• The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.
• The Berkeley Police Department has not yet identified or arrested the suspect and continues to investigate the case.
