Overview

• Phase-wise plan covers 121 constituencies on November 6 and 122 on November 11, with results on November 14 and the process slated to conclude by November 16.
• The final electorate stands at about 7.42–7.43 crore after the Special Intensive Revision that deleted 68.5 lakh and added 21.5 lakh names, with rolls shared with parties and corrections allowed up to 10 days before nominations.
• Operations will span 90,712 polling stations statewide, averaging 818 electors per booth with a hard cap of 1,200 voters per station to reduce queues.
• New measures include 100% webcasting at all booths, colour photos and larger fonts on EVM ballot papers, mobile‑phone deposit counters, trained BLOs with ID cards, and completion of postal‑ballot counting before the last two EVM rounds.
