Election Commission Opens ECINet App for Public Feedback Before January Rollout

Overview

• ECINet consolidates about 40 election services into one interface, including Voter Helpline, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends and Know Your Candidate.
• Trial deployments during the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections and subsequent by-elections informed refinements by election officials.
• The platform’s trial version delivered quicker polling percentage trends and Index Cards within 72 hours of polls closing.
• The app is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• The initiative, led by CEC Gyanesh Kumar with ECs Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, is being readied ahead of 2026 state assembly polls.
