Elderly Couple Bound and Robbed in Potsdam Home Invasion

Three masked intruders attacked the couple in their apartment, escaping with a large sum of cash.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday at the couple's residence in the Am Stern neighborhood of Potsdam.
The 76-year-old woman opened the door after hearing a knock, allowing the masked assailants to enter.
The intruders tied up the woman and her 82-year-old husband before ransacking the apartment.
Despite the ordeal, the couple was unharmed and managed to free themselves, subsequently alerting a relative who contacted the police.
Police investigations are ongoing, but the suspects remain at large despite extensive search efforts, including the use of a tracking dog.
