Overview
- The expansion rolls out Dec. 3–4 by region and platform, with PC unlocking earlier in some areas and consoles tied to local midnight; Steam has no preload, while PlayStation and Xbox offer preloads for preorders.
- FromSoftware’s mandatory Patch 1.03/1.003 is live for all players, adding DLC support plus extensive balance adjustments, fixes, and quality-of-life changes.
- The Forsaken Hollows adds the playable Scholar and Undertaker, a Balancers boss expedition, the Shifting Earth event, and a new Great Hollows area with additional points of interest in Limveld.
- Access requires purchasing and installing the DLC, defeating Tricephalos and at least one other Nightlord, then speaking to the Iron Menial at Roundtable Hold and the Small Jar Merchant to open a new chapel leading to the Great Hollows.
