- Directed by Patricia Marín, the dance-theatre piece uses choreography, projections and real trash to dramatize the pulpo fantasma’s struggle against pollution
- Ghiju Díaz de León’s visual design immerses audiences in an undersea world to highlight the beauty and vulnerability of Mexican marine ecosystems
- Developed by Danza Visual in partnership with Mares de México, Fundación Santa Lucía and Culturalmente Responsable, the staging blends artistry with environmental advocacy
- Performances are scheduled at Teatro de las Artes in CENART on August 16–17 with double shows at 12:00 and 14:00 and tickets priced at 150 pesos
- Organizers intend to tour the production nationwide and launch accompanying recycling campaigns to extend its call for ocean stewardship
