Einride Launches First Large-Scale EV Charging Station for Freight Trucks in the U.S.

The station, located near Los Angeles and Long Beach ports, marks a significant step towards electrifying the U.S. freight industry.

Einride's first Smartcharger station in the U.S. has opened in Lynwood, California, featuring 65 chargers with the capacity to charge 200 vehicles a day.
The station is part of a broader effort to transition the freight trucking market to electric vehicles, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and improve sustainability.
Currently, the station primarily serves Einride’s electric fleets, including routes for global shipping giant A.P. Moller-Maersk.
