Eiichiro Oda, creator of the 'One Piece' manga, has endorsed the casting choices for the live-action series' second season, calling them 'absolutely the perfect choice.'
Oda visited the production set in Cape Town, South Africa, where he praised the crew's dedication, the detailed sets, and the overall atmosphere of the project.
New cast members include Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, and Callum Kerr as Smoker, alongside returning main cast members such as Iñaki Godoy and Emily Rudd.
The second season will feature an expanded roster of characters, including members of the Baroque Works group and other iconic figures from the manga.
Production for Season 2 is ongoing, with no official release date announced yet, but Oda has assured fans that it will surpass the success of the first season.
