Overview

• The 12-hour operation spanned the metro area, the subway network and El Prat airport with roughly 1,000 personnel from Mossos units, Policía Nacional, local and port police, private security and labour inspectors.
• Police reported 75 people detained and 20 placed under investigation in the macro-deployment, the eighth since Plan Kanpai began in April.
• Teams inspected second-hand phone and jewelry shops, locutorios and some barbershops after analysts flagged suspected outlets to focus resources on the stolen-goods pipeline.
• Authorities logged 217 administrative complaints and 200 infractions, seized five personal mobility vehicles, and recovered two stolen phones and one stolen car.
• More than 10,000 riders were checked in the metro with 448 fare sanctions issued, and local participation was uneven as l’Hospitalet’s force sat out this round.
