Eight Migrant Workers Arrested for Allegedly Looting in Tennessee Post-Hurricane Helene

Washington County authorities arrested eight migrant workers on Saturday for alleged looting in areas devastated by Hurricane Helene.
Five of the suspects face aggravated burglary charges for breaking into occupied structures, while three are charged with burglary.
All eight suspects are currently held on $20,000 bonds and are expected to appear in court.
The sheriff's office confirmed that the suspects were legally in the U.S. on work visas, which may change due to the charges.
Hurricane Helene has caused severe flooding and damage in Tennessee and other southeastern states, with at least 133 deaths reported.
