Eight Detained and Stolen Phones Recovered in Burglary of Pampita’s Barrio Parque Home

Police traced support vehicles on city cameras and seized tools and belongings as Fiscalía Nº48 keeps the investigation under secrecy.

Overview

  • Thieves hit the model’s Palermo residence between Friday night and Saturday, removing a safe with cash, jewelry and old phones holding images of her late daughter, Blanca, while she was in Spain.
  • City Police detained eight suspects after coordinated operations, arresting seven at a hotel in Once and another in La Boca; the detainees include six Chileans, a Colombian and a Venezuelan.
  • Investigators followed a Volkswagen Suran and Fiat Cronos identified by the Centro de Monitoreo Urbano, with the Suran allegedly used to carry the stolen safe.
  • Two men in Avellaneda found the old phones in the street and returned them within hours, declining a reward as the handover was made in the presence of attorney Fernando Burlando.
  • Evidence recovered includes handbags recognized by the victim and burglary tools such as lock picks and crowbars, and officials say the intruders cut power and entered from the rear; further raids and judicial steps are ongoing under prosecutor Eduardo Rosende.
