Eight Bodies Found on Turkish Coast, Suspected to be Migrants from Missing Boat

Turkish authorities investigate as bodies wash up on Antalya coast, including at a popular vacation resort.

Eight bodies have been found washed up on the coast of Antalya, Turkey, including two at a vacation resort in Serik.
One of the bodies is believed to be a Turkish citizen who was reported missing, while the other seven are thought to be migrants from a boat that disappeared off the Syria-Lebanon border last month.
The boat was reportedly carrying around 90 people, including 30 children, and was headed for Cyprus.
Authorities believe the victims may have been dragged towards the Antalya coastline due to currents, winds and waves.
Another boat, carrying 50 to 60 people, also lost contact after leaving Lebanon last week.
