Overview

• Over the three-day Eid ul-Adha period, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded 53 fatalities and 50 injuries across multiple districts.
• Rescue1122 logged 1,999 emergency calls and provided medical aid to 1,897 people while conducting 82 recovery operations and handling 50 crime-related cases.
• The province saw 349 traffic accidents with Peshawar accounting for the highest number at 43 and six drowning incidents reported in rivers and dams.
• Additional emergencies included 112 fire responses and violent clashes that claimed lives in Sukkur and other districts.
• On the first day of Eid nationwide, at least 18 people died and 48 were injured in road accidents, drownings at Tarbela Lake, a bus overturn in Layyah, and clashes between rival groups in Sukkur.
