Overview

  • Authorities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern reported four new infections in children aged one to six, lifting the total to 26 confirmed cases since mid-August.
  • Two of the latest patients developed the severe complication HUS, including one child from Berlin who had stayed in Vorpommern-Greifswald.
  • Overall, 20 of those infected are children and adolescents, eight have HUS, and 15 patients are hospitalized in stable condition, according to LAGuS.
