Eero Expands Wi-Fi 7 Lineup with Affordable Mesh Routers

Amazon-owned Eero introduces the Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7, offering advanced connectivity features at lower price points ahead of their February 26 launch.

Eero has unveiled two new Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers, the Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7, which are now available for pre-order and will launch on February 26, 2025.
The Eero 7 is a dual-band router priced at $169.99 for a single unit, while the tri-band Eero Pro 7 starts at $299.99, providing more affordable options compared to the flagship Eero Max 7.
Both routers feature backward compatibility with older Eero devices and support for smart home standards like Matter, Zigbee, and Thread, enhancing integration with connected devices.
Key Wi-Fi 7 features include higher wireless throughput, improved stability via multi-band connectivity, and expanded 320MHz channel bandwidth on the 6GHz band for faster speeds.
The Eero 7 and Pro 7 are designed to cover up to 2,000 square feet per device, with the Pro 7 supporting up to 200 devices, making them suitable for everyday use and smart home setups.
