Edward James Olmos reveals throat cancer battle, recovery

Edward James Olmos revealed he was diagnosed with throat cancer last year but has since recovered after treatment.
Doctors warned Olmos they did not know how his voice would sound after treatment but he has slowly regained strength.
Olmos lost 55 pounds during treatment but refused to receive nutrients through a tube, instead eating normally.
Olmos has been recovering by swimming, rowing, and weight lifting at least a mile each day.
Olmos says the experience changed him significantly.
