Overview
- The Office for Civil Rights concluded that Alexandria City, Arlington, Fairfax County, Loudoun County and Prince William County violated Title IX by allowing transgender boys to use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms
- OCR sent each district a resolution agreement requiring facility access be based strictly on biological sex and the adoption of “male” and “female” definitions by August 4 or face potential enforcement action, including referral to the Justice Department
