Edmonton Police Issue Alberta-Wide Amber Alert for Abducted Toddler Aurora Alexis

Authorities have identified Leonard Willier as the alleged abductor, outlined his vehicle details, urged anyone with information to call 911.

  • At about 4 p.m. on Saturday, two-year-old Aurora Alexis was allegedly taken from the area of 31 Avenue and 106 Street in southwest Edmonton’s Steinhauer neighbourhood.
  • Edmonton Police Service issued the Amber Alert province-wide and released identifying details for the suspect, Leonard Willier.
  • Officers describe Willier as stocky and about six feet tall and note that Aurora has brown hair and brown eyes.
  • The abductor’s vehicle is a white 2018 Toyota Tundra with Saskatchewan licence plate 786 JBH and may contain additional occupants.
  • Police warned the public not to approach the suspect and asked anyone spotting the child or the vehicle to call 911 immediately.
