Edinburgh Sign Scottish-Qualified Centre Kienan Higgins on Two-Month Deal

The 25-year-old arrives to cover injuries in the midfield through March.

Higgins joins from Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand’s NPC, where he was part of a Ranfurly Shield-winning side.
Edinburgh moved for cover after injuries to Matt Currie, Mosese Tuipulotu, Charlie McCaig and academy back Findlay Thomson.
The club had only two fit centres, James Lang and Piers O’Conor, before his arrival.
He is expected to remain with Edinburgh until March before linking up with Major League Rugby’s New England Free Jacks.
The Scottish-qualified back described the stint as a chance to experience Northern Hemisphere rugby and add value immediately.
