Overview

• The festival is set to take place in Edinburgh from August 14 to 20, 2025, at venues including Tollcross Central Hall.
• On August 17, Schoonmaker will chair an In Conversation session on Michael Powell’s work and introduce a digital restoration of his 1937 film The Edge of the World.
• Comedian Rose Matafeo will join the 90 Minutes or Less FilmFest Podcast for a live recording during the festival’s In Conversation day.
• Additional In Conversation sessions will feature filmmakers Ken Loach, Paul Laverty, Rebecca O’Brien, Kevin and Andrew Macdonald, and Andrea Arnold.
• The program opens with Eva Victor’s debut feature Sorry, Baby and concludes with Paul Sng’s documentary Reality Is Not Enough.
