Terzic, 41, left Borussia Dortmund after reaching the Champions League final last season and is currently without a coaching position.
He has prior Premier League experience, having served as an assistant coach at West Ham United from 2015 to 2017.
Other names reportedly on the shortlist include Thomas Tuchel, Gareth Southgate, Graham Potter, and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
