Edgar Wright’s 'The Running Man' Remake Wraps Filming Ahead of November Release

Director Edgar Wright confirmed that filming for 'The Running Man' remake has officially wrapped, marking a significant production milestone.
Starring Glen Powell as Ben Richards, the film features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Colman Domingo, Katy O’Brian, Josh Brolin, and Michael Cera.
The movie is a more faithful adaptation of Stephen King’s dystopian novel, diverging from the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger version by focusing on a darker, socially critical tone.
The project, co-written by Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall, began production in late 2024 and remains on track for its November 7, 2025, release date.
Wright and cast members are expected to share updates and potentially preview footage at CinemaCon next week.
