Edgar Wright’s The Running Man Arrives on Digital With 2.5 Hours of Extras

Paramount is leaning on an early home release after the film’s underwhelming theatrical run.

  • The Running Man became available December 16 to buy or rent on major VOD platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home, with listed prices of $24.99 to purchase and $19.99 to rent.
  • The digital edition includes more than two and a half hours of bonus features such as a commentary by Edgar Wright, Glen Powell and Michael Bacall, multiple making-of featurettes, in‑world commercials, deleted and extended scenes and trailers.
  • The film, a new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 novel directed and co‑written by Wright, stars Glen Powell alongside Josh Brolin, Colman Domingo, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones and others.
  • After opening to $28.2 million globally, the movie has grossed about $68.4 million worldwide against a reported $110 million production budget, according to Variety.
  • The title is expected to stream on Paramount+ roughly two to three months after its theatrical debut, and a 4K Ultra HD, Blu‑ray and DVD release is listed for March 3, 2026.
