EDF and Energy Sector Unions Finalize 2025 Salary Increase Agreement

The deal includes a 2.7% overall salary hike for employees, combining individual raises and a sector-wide base pay adjustment.

EDF's management and four representative unions (CFE-CGC, CGT, CFDT, FO) unanimously signed the agreement on December 24, 2024.
The agreement provides a 1.9% increase in individual salaries, supplemented by a 0.8% rise in the sector-wide base pay, totaling a 2.7% overall raise for employees in 2025.
Unions had initially sought a 2.3% individual raise in addition to the base pay increase but ultimately agreed to the finalized terms.
Similar agreements have been reached in other energy sector companies like Enedis, while negotiations remain ongoing in three gas infrastructure firms (Storengy, Elengy, and GRTGaz).
The deal impacts nearly 140,000 EDF employees and reflects broader trends in annual wage negotiations across the energy sector.
