• Edeka’s Naturkind store in Dinkelsbühl closed at the end of September, with its organic range moved into the neighboring Edeka-Center Ammon.
• The former Dinkelsbühl store’s equipment was listed on Restlos.com, with the inventory auction concluding on October 16.
• Munich now hosts the only remaining standalone Naturkind outlet in Germany as the retailer consolidates organic assortments inside regular supermarkets.
• Edeka officially inaugurated its Marktredwitz logistics center, a roughly €360 million project spanning about 470,000 square meters and designed to supply more than 800 stores.
• The new hub targets full operations in Q2 2026 and about 600 jobs at full build-out, complementing the Hirschaid ‘Frische-Manufaktur’ opened in spring 2025 for fresh food production.
