• Edeka will terminate its Genuss+ program on August 30, 2025, causing unredeemed Genusspunkte to expire while existing vouchers remain valid beyond the deadline.
• Early-2025 integration of the Payback system into the Edeka app sets the stage for a full switch from Genuss+ to Payback point collection.
• Shoppers will no longer advance through Bronze, Silver and Gold statuses and will instead find rotating, time-limited discount campaigns in the app.
• Through Payback’s partnership, customers can earn and redeem points at Netto Marken-Discount, Marktkauf and trinkgut as well as at Edeka stores.
• The forthcoming app redesign preserves core services such as digital receipts and shopping lists while supporting the new promotional model and continuing birthday gift offers.
