- ED seized Rs 1.22 crore in cash and jewellery valued at Rs 8.50 crore from Sunil Gupta’s Western Green Farms residence in Delhi on Thursday.
- Searches a day earlier at associate Aman Kumar’s Sarvapriya Vihar home yielded Rs 5.12 crore in cash, jewellery worth Rs 8.80 crore, and documents tied to properties of about Rs 35 crore.
- The operation began on December 30 in the national capital and continued for a third consecutive day, according to officials.
- Preliminary findings state Gupta had earlier lent money to Kumar and that Kumar attempted to move suspected proceeds to Gupta after the ED inquiry started.
- The case targets absconding accused Inderjit Singh Yadav, described by the ED as operating from the UAE, with earlier rounds also covering premises linked to Apollo Green Energy and his role at Gem Records Entertainment.
