Overview
- The Enforcement Directorate issued fresh provisional attachment orders covering Rs 628.95 crore in four separate cases on Nov. 2–3, 2026, adding recent seizures to ongoing money‑laundering probes.
- The largest single move was a Rs 510 crore attachment tied to Reliance Anil Ambani Group matters that covered two chartered aircraft, six land parcels, an office, two windmills, bank balances and investments and raised cumulative RAAG attachments to about Rs 23,100 crore.
- In Mumbai the ED provisionally attached Rs 53.95 crore in the Parekh Aluminex Ltd probe, taking total assets frozen in that case to roughly Rs 546 crore while alleging loans were obtained with inflated stock and debtor statements that left about Rs 2,296 crore outstanding.
- The agency attached Rs 40.40 crore in immovable property linked to businessman Harish Dedhiya and his wife in the DHFL-related probe and earlier froze about $5.41 million tied to the Wadhawan family as part of an investigation into alleged diversion of DHFL loan funds.
- All orders are provisional under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and come as the ED files prosecution complaints, pursues court cognisance and makes arrests; the actions aim to restrain alleged proceeds of crime and could affect creditor recoveries and ongoing insolvency or forensic processes.
