Ed Ames, youngest Ames Brother and ‘Daniel Boone’ star, dies at 95

Ed Ames, the last surviving member of the Ames Brothers quartet, died at 95 from Alzheimer's disease.
He found success as an actor playing Mingo on the 1960s TV show “Daniel Boone.”
The Ames Brothers were popular 1950s singers known for hits like “Rag Mop” and “Sentimental Me.”
Ames continued performing as a solo artist, scoring hits with “My Cup Runneth Over” and “Who Will Answer?”
He is survived by his wife, two children, stepson, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
