ED Alleges K Kavitha Paid Rs 100 Crore to AAP Leaders in Excise Policy Case

K Kavitha, arrested last week, is accused of conspiring with AAP leaders for policy favours, claims the Enforcement Directorate.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that BRS leader K Kavitha conspired with AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, to receive favours in the Delhi excise policy by paying Rs 100 crore.
K Kavitha was arrested by the ED last week and is in custody till March 23, with the agency claiming she is a key conspirator in the Delhi excise policy scam.
AAP has denied the allegations, accusing the ED of being a political wing of the BJP and stating that no evidence has been found despite extensive investigations.
The Delhi excise policy, which allegedly allowed cartelisation and favoured certain dealers, was scrapped following recommendations for a CBI probe into its irregularities.
The ED and CBI have conducted numerous raids and made several arrests, including former Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia, in connection with the case.
