EC’s Special Roll Revision Accelerates With Door-to-Door Forms and Voter Safeguards

Names missing from 2002 lists will not trigger deletions, with provisional inclusion ahead of the December 9 draft.

  • Applicants absent from the 2002 roll will be provisionally included in the December 9 draft, then called for an ERO hearing with seven days to appear and show linkage to a pre-2002 roll plus an accepted ID, with West Bengal’s final roll due February 7, 2026.
