ECS Announces Laptop Featuring AMD's Unreleased Krackan Point APU

The ECS UP42KP, set to debut at CES 2025, includes AMD's Zen 5c cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and advanced AI capabilities.

The ECS UP42KP will be powered by AMD's unreleased Ryzen AI 7 350 'Krackan Point' APU, featuring 8 cores (4 Zen 5 and 4 Zen 5c) with hyper-threading.
The APU integrates RDNA 3.5 graphics and an NPU delivering over 40 TOPS for AI-driven tasks, targeting the mainstream mid-range laptop market.
The 14-inch laptop supports DDR5-5600 memory, Wi-Fi 6, USB4, and operates within a TDP range of 15W to 54W.
Additional features include an IR camera for Windows Hello, a backlit keyboard, HDMI 2.1 support, and a sleek 16.9mm-thick metal chassis with a Full HD display.
Pricing and availability details are expected to be revealed during CES 2025, where the laptop will officially launch.
