ECI Unveils IICDEM 2026 Logo, Confirms Jan 21–23 Global Conference in New Delhi

Overview

• The inaugural three-day conference will be hosted by the Election Commission of India at Bharat Mandapam and organised by IIIDEM.
• Nearly 100 international delegates representing election management bodies, international organisations and foreign missions will attend.
• The theme is “Democracy for an inclusive, peaceful, resilient and sustainable world,” underscoring cooperation and shared best practices.
• The programme features an Inaugural Session, an EMB Leaders’ Plenary, EMB working group meetings, thematic sessions on global electoral standards and innovations, and the launch of ECINet.
• ECI leaders will hold over 40 bilateral meetings with heads of participating EMBs, and the newly unveiled logo highlights citizens as the foundation of democracy.
