Overview

• The directives cover the November 6 Bihar Assembly election and eight byelections scheduled for November 11.
• All 90,712 polling sites in Bihar will be on ground or road-entry level and equipped with ramps suited for wheelchair access.
• Persons with Disabilities and senior citizens will receive priority entry at polling booths.
• Braille-enabled voter information slips and dummy Braille ballot sheets will be provided, with companion assistance allowed under Rule 49N.
• Transport and wheelchair support can be requested through the ECINET Divyang (Saksham) Module for use at every polling location on voting day.
