  • ECINET, a unified digital dashboard consolidating over 40 existing apps, is set for full deployment ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections to simplify electoral processes.
  • Voter-centric measures include reducing the maximum number per polling station to 1,200, adding booths in urban clusters, and introducing mobile phone deposit facilities at station entrances.
  • The commission will train an additional 6,000 booth-level officers and supervisors within 45 days to bolster ground-level election administration.
  • Following more than 4,700 meetings with over 28,000 political party representatives, the ECI plans further consultations with national and state parties in the coming weeks.
